Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and delivery of business-focused change management strategies and plans.
- Assess operational impacts and ensure business readiness across affected teams.
- Work closely with programme leads, operational stakeholders, HR, communications, and senior leadership to drive successful adoption of change.
- Develop and implement stakeholder engagement, communication, and change intervention plans.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and resistance to change, implementing practical mitigation strategies.
- Support organisational redesign, operating model changes, process improvements, and workforce transitions.
- Create clear and pragmatic plans in situations where requirements and programme direction may evolve over time.
- Drive alignment across multiple workstreams, ensuring a cohesive and consistent approach to change.
- Measure and track change adoption, business readiness, and stakeholder engagement outcomes.
- Provide leadership and proactive direction, taking ownership of delivery and outcomes.
Required Experience
- Significant experience leading complex business and operational change programmes.
- Demonstrable success delivering change within large, complex organisations, preferably within the Public Sector.
- Experience supporting organisational transformation, mergers, restructures, operating model changes, or business process improvements.
- Strong understanding of change impacts on people, processes, operating models, and business operations.
- Proven ability to develop practical solutions in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments.
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders and building credibility at all organisational levels.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and business readiness experience.
- Evidence of personally leading and owning change delivery rather than operating solely as part of a wider team.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction and drive activities to completion.
- Experience working within large-scale merger, integration, or restructuring programmes.
- Public Sector experience.
- Change Management accreditation (Prosci, APMG, CIPD or equivalent).
