QA / QC Consultant - Lab

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Consultant to support a laboratory refurbishment and equipment upgrade programme within a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and approve User Requirement Specifications (URS).
  • Oversee equipment installation, qualification, and commissioning activities.
  • Review and approve IQ (Installation Qualification) and OQ (Operational Qualification) protocols and reports.
  • Ensure commissioning activities are completed in line with GMP/GxP and project quality requirements.
  • Manage deviations, change controls, and quality documentation.
  • Liaise with vendors, engineering teams, validation specialists, and laboratory stakeholders.
  • Support FAT, SAT, and project handover activities where required.
Requirements
  • Proven QA/QC, Validation, or Commissioning experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, life sciences, or laboratory environments.
  • Strong understanding of GMP/GxP compliance.
  • Hands-on experience reviewing and approving URS, IQ, OQ, and commissioning documentation.
  • Experience supporting laboratory equipment installation and upgrades.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Desirable
  • Experience with PQ and equipment validation.
  • Previous laboratory refurbishment or capital project experience.
  • Knowledge of analytical laboratory equipment and systems.
