The Company

A SAAS based platform that is going through some major scale and looking to build out their existing team. A well established product in the Australian market that is now being rolled out in new markets, which has proven to major success. Due to the scale of growth they are looking for 3 engineers to join the team of 14 here in Australia.

The Job

You will join a squad of 6 focusing on a greenfield build. You will be responsible for taking ownership over the development and functionality, from concept to release and work collaboratively with other stakeholders within the business.
They are looking for Ruby on Rails engineers who are user experience focused and want to implement best practices. This will be from the ground up build and will give you the opportunity to put your technical stamp on what is already a successful platform.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years Ruby on Rails experience – build scalable & performant web apps & APIs.
• VueJS, PostgreSQL, Redis Docker, K8s.
• Experience with scaling a SaaS platform.
• Ability to build systems with minimal input or specs.
• Proven record working to complex API’s
• Use an Agile approach to development
• Team player who can take on additional responsibilities

 
Bonus points if you have experience in:

• Desire to build distributed systems - MicroServices
• Experience building large scale systems
• DevOps
• Experience with B2B product development
