Job brief
We are looking for a specialist Senior Front-end developer to join an exciting new project. This will be an initial 6-month contract (with likely extension). You will be responsible for building the ‘client-side’ components and templates of a new client websites and applications. You will translate our company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive components and pages.
We expect you to be a tech-savvy professional, who is curious about the latest in digital technologies and has a keen eye for creating usable and scalable design principles. This role is located in the heart of Melbourne and hybrid 1 day a week in office.

Responsibilities

• Use markup languages like HTML to create user-friendly web pages
• Optimize and improve website functionality.
• Design mobile-based features
• Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability
• Ensure high quality graphic standards and brand consistency

 
Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Front-end developer
• Functional knowledge of component-based implementation
• Experience with building custom js libraries
• Skilled in micro front-ends
• Knowledge in back end technologies including Node.js
• Experience in UI & UX practices
• Experience with testing tools (Jest & Cypress)
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)

 Candidates must be located in Australia & citizenship or permanent residency.
