Project - DfE Technical Architecture (SOW 19 Get Help Buying for Schools)
IR35 - Inside ir35
Rate - £600 Inside ir35
Working location - Hybrid - 1 or 2 days a fortnight in either Coventry, Sheffield, London, Manchester, possibly Bristol
Start - ASAP
End - 29/01/2025

Service: Get Help Buying for schools (part of the Schools portfolio)
 
Policy outcomes: save schools money on procurement
Get Help Buying for Schools - tech leadership needs
 
- Ruby development leadership (provide technical leadership, coaching and mentoring your team)
- Service architecture support for new GHBS products / applications (Azure, SharePoint, DFE sign-in integration, Microsoft Graph etc)
- Expert Ruby on Rails experience, relational database design experience
- Good Postgres administration & SQL experience (links to our PowerBI reports)
- Managing services and deployments in Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps is an essential part of the role, so experience in these areas is preferred
- Expert git experience
- Expert GitHub Action experience
- Preferred experience of the Gov.uk design system (including accessibility requirements) common components
 
Team Shape:
Role to support 2 teams – Team 01: Continuous improvement of existing digital product / Team 02: Design and development of new products
