Wipro is a leading global information technology, consulting and business process services company, which came to Opus Talent Solutions having signed off 200 roles for their end client, Lloyds Banking Group, to carry out their biggest digital transformation project ever.

Facing challenges of high-volume hiring, complex skill requirements, and slow internal processes, we deployed a dedicated project team to streamline recruitment, manage candidate engagement, and ensure efficient vetting and compliance. By integrating closely with Wipro and leveraging specialist consultants, we accelerated delivery and enhanced process efficiency.

The client
Wipro is a leading global information technology, consulting and business process services company. Harnessing the power of cognitive computing, hyper-automation, robotics, cloud, analytics and emerging technologies, Wipro helps clients adapt to the digital world and make them successful. Wipro has over 160,000 dedicated employees serving clients across six continents.

What was the challenge?
For Wipro, the challenges were complex.

They needed to recruit niche skillsets, in volume, and across multiple markets – and they needed to do it yesterday.

The challenge was also complicated by needing to make the proposition attractive to high calibre candidates, managing slow internal processes, and overseeing effective, efficient candidate vetting that provided correct, standardised information. Wipro also needed comprehensive management information and to rise to the challenge of processing offers/invoices with a large client.

Characteristics of our solution
For us, with long expertise in this area, the challenges were more straightforward.

We introduced a project team dedicated to both managing the client and also to managing the process internally to optimise delivery.

To counter the roles being worked and then dropped, we chose to deliver the roles using London-based delivery consultants, working alongside the 360 specialists.

To make the process as efficient as possible, the project team were introduced to the client, who managed task distribution and scheduled interview days, and consultants met all candidates before and after interview, managing their documentation too.
