A leading technology consultancy is expanding its engineering capability and is seeking experienced Senior Java Engineers to help deliver complex enterprise platforms and large-scale digital transformation programmes.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of technical delivery, influence engineering standards and mentor other developers while remaining hands-on with modern Java engineering.

Following the initial 12-month FTC, there is a strong expectation that successful candidates will move into a permanent position.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesigning and developing large-scale Java solutions.Building and maintaining Spring Boot Microservices.Working with AWS-hosted cloud-native architectures.Leading technical workstreams and supporting solution delivery.Conducting code reviews and promoting engineering best practice.Mentoring and supporting less experienced engineers.Collaborating with architects, DevOps engineers and senior stakeholders.Supporting delivery through the full software lifecycle.Essential Skills5+ years commercial Java development experience.Java (JDK 11+).Spring Boot.Microservices architecture.AWS.REST APIs.CI/CD pipelines.Agile/Scrum delivery.Experience reviewing code and supporting other engineers.Desirable SkillsDockerKubernetesKafkaOracle WebLogicTDDJUnit / MockitoEnterprise Integration PlatformsTechnical leadership experienceSecurity Clearance Requirement
