Overview We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud & Platform Engineer to design, build, and support secure cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and enterprise data platforms within a highly secure environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy, and maintain secure AWS infrastructure and networking services.Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, GitLab CI, and GitHub.Support big data platforms using Hadoop, Hive, Spark, EMR, Athena, and Redshift.Implement monitoring, logging, security, and compliance controls across cloud environments.Drive automation, containerisation, and platform resilience using Kubernetes, Python, and DevOps best practices.Essential Skills & ExperienceStrong AWS experience, including services such as VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, KMS, Lambda, EMR, Athena, and Redshift.Hands-on experience with Terraform and CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Concourse, GitHub).Strong Linux administration experience.Experience with big data technologies including Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and Amazon EMR (or equivalent).Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and security tools.Desirable SkillsKubernetes/EKS or other container platforms.Python scripting and automation.Azure infrastructure experience.Experience with Kong, Vault, SonarQube, Tenable, Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk.Technologies AWS, Terraform, GitHub, GitLab CI, Concourse, Linux, Python, Kubernetes, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, EMR, Athena, Redshift, DynamoDB, MySQL, Vault, Tenable, SonarQube, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Azure.
