About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Full‑Stack Developer with Insurance domain expertise to support the development and scaling of a high‑growth digital platform within the insurance sector.
You will work across both frontend and backend layers, collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver robust, scalable, and high‑performance solutions.
A key focus of the role will be building modern user interfaces (Vue.js) while contributing to backend services, APIs, and architecture that support complex insurance workflows and data models.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack applications across frontend and backend layers.
Build modern, responsive frontend applications using Vue.js.
Develop and maintain backend services and APIs to support business logic and integrations.
Work with insurance-related systems, data structures, and workflows (e.g. policies, claims, underwriting).
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high‑quality features.
Integrate frontend components with backend services and third‑party APIs.
Contribute to architectural decisions across the full technology stack.
Identify and resolve performance, scalability, and UI/UX issues.
Ensure code quality through best practices, testing, and code reviews.
Support the continuous improvement of development processes and system reliability.
Required Skills
Strong commercial experience as a Full‑Stack Developer.
Proven experience working within the insurance domain (mandatory).
Strong frontend expertise with Vue.js (Vue 2 and/or Vue 3). (other frontend technologies feel free to apply)
Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
Backend development experience (e.g. Node.js, Java, or similar).
Experience designing and consuming RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
Knowledge of state management (Vuex, Pinia, etc.).
Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
Familiarity with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL).
Experience with modern development tools, version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a distributed team.
Nice to Have (Not Required)
Experience with Nuxt.js.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Familiarity with insurance platforms or standards (e.g. Guidewire, INSIS, or similar).
Exposure to automated testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright).
Experience working in a fast-paced or scaling environment.
Knowledge of microservices architecture or event-driven systems. Read less
